EY’s monumental building on Wassenaarseweg in The Hague was dated after years of intensive use and in need of a thorough renovation. At the same time, it proved that new working concepts required much less space than before. The Ypsilon building behind it became redundant and full use at the monumental front would suffice. With the expiry of the lease term, the ideal time was there to review this new situation and secure EY’s future use of this beautiful property.
